Create one account. Save YouTube videos from your laptop. Watch them on your phone, your tablet, your TV browser — no app install, no second extension, no lost queue.
YouTube's Watch Later was never built for people who actually use it. If you've ever scrolled past 200 stale entries looking for "that video from Tuesday," this is for you.
Finished a video? Watch Later doesn't care. It stays in the list forever, mixed in with the new stuff.
Saving a video from the YouTube mobile app is friction. The list itself is buried four taps deep.
Different Google profile? Different family member? Different device that's not signed in? You're locked out of your own queue.
Sign up once, then your queue follows you to every device you log into.
Create a YouTube Todo account, then log in on the extension and any device where you want to watch.
The browser extension adds a "Save to YouTube Todo" item to any YouTube link, thumbnail, or page.
Open /me from any logged-in device. Add to home screen for a native-feeling PWA. Finished items strike through automatically and your scrub position syncs.
There are good extensions out there. None of them solve the cross-device part.
| YouTube Todo | YouTube Watch Later | Queue / playlist extensions | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Save from desktop, watch on phone | Yes — open a URL | Sort of — if signed in | Extension-only, per browser |
| Read / unread state | Automatic strike-through | No | Varies |
| Resume where you left off | Scrub position syncs | Per-device only | Rare |
| Private to you (login required) | Yes — your account, your queue | Tied to your Google account | Local-only, no sync |
| Works on iPhone | PWA, no app install | YouTube app required | Desktop browser only |
Your account holds an email, a salted password hash, and the videos you've saved. Nothing else. No watch history beyond your own queue, no ad targeting, no third-party trackers, no analytics pixels.
Your queue is private. Every page and API call requires a logged-in session — nobody can read your queue from a URL alone. Sessions live in a cookie and expire after 30 days.
You're in control. Open your queue, hit Delete my data, and we wipe everything tied to your account — no archive, no shadow record, no recovery. We don't sell data, we don't run ads, and we don't have a second business model that depends on hanging onto it.
Create your account, install the extension, save your first video.
